have not been posting for thousands of years alr....

okays was busy with work, work and more work! lol.
For the last whole week, i have been working at compass point selling cure. Carmen came to visit me a few times after school for lunch and stuff(:

yesterday, jie held her birthday celebration at the condo aunty elsie is living in. Overall it was rather fun, just that there was so many people! hahas... so i hang out with my church friends instead and jie entertained her school friends leaving the rest to self-entertain. lol.
It was really an exhausting day as we had to bring back the leftover uncooked food.
While as for jie, she had a jolly good time as she received many gifts especially body gels! LOL.

yea so i would be missing in action for another few more days as i would be ,as usual, working! yea so this week, i would be working at bugis junction watson(:

yesterday i went to the polyclinic to let the doctor check on my right eyelid as i had minor swelling. So i collected my number(2316) and went up to the 2nd floor. I waited and waited.... soon i saw the number on room15 2317! and room14, 2318!!!! i was like sharks! have my number passed?! Seeing a nurse walking pass, i quickly stopped her and ask her my doubt. I then showed her my number and she told me, "your room number is room13, and the doctor is only at 2292. So your turn would be coming soon.". my first reaction was OH. hahas! Thanked her and went back to my seat. <- This is what would happen to you if you have never been to a polyclinic 16 years of your life!!!! hahas.... Soon it was my turn and the doctor said that it was eyelid infection. *NOT AGAIN?!* and said it was too much pressure on *some blood vessel* haahs.... the first question i asked her was, " Did the infection come about because of my contact lenses?" (this was the reason why i had eyelid inflammation the other time.) She said it was not but because my hand was dirty when i rub my eyes and stuff. So PHEW!! ( if not i wouldn't dare to wear contacts again!) hahas.. To cut the story short, i went down to collect my medicine and make payment. When my name was called to make payment, i opened my wallet and was ready to pull out $20 thinking that medicine for the eye would not be cheap as i paid $13.50 for and eye drop the other time. The cashier then said $5.30. My reaction was "HUH? 5.30 arhs?!" So i paid her and left. *still in shock* When i looked at the receipt, the medicine was only $0.70! hahas! what a vast difference from my previous eye medication! hahas...


At 5, i met tricia and the rest to watch CAMPUS SUPERSTAR! which was held at mediacorp studio. I was super excited as this would be my first time going there! hahas.... but actually, no big deal! We took mrt from pasir ris to toa payoh, took bus 157 to mediacorp. We actually missed a stop and had to walk about 50m of road! but anyway, we still reached our destination(: My initial thought of the studio that it would be a very big one. But to my surprised, it was so small!
The show only starts at 8 but we were supposed to be seated by 630! For what reason? I dont know! So while waiting, we had to do a rehearsal of what we are supposed to do when the show starts. Benita sung real nice so did most of the contestants(: Halfway through the show, during one of the breaks, one mad girl shouted "PORNSAK!". Pornsak was like talking to a production crew and did not hear her screaming. So she shouted the 2nd time, and this time, he heared! He turned behind and just waved. hahas! Tricia then said "you see, I told you right? Alot of the people here come for the host more than for the contestant!" LOL.
Most of us left after the performance and not after the results as there was transport back(: Thank GOD that benita made it through this round(:

today i went for my interview at trusted hub. I actually lost my way there as i went into tech view to look for trusted hub when its a building by itself, so after getting help from some passerby, i finally found it! It's actually a small building with many floors in it, thousands of workers. I went to the 3rd floor for the interview, there was like one room full of people filling up the application form and many others flowing out as there wasnt any more room for them. So altogether, there were 15 people vying for the job! 15 people from various walks of life. About 75% of us are people like me, waiting to enter a polytechnic, the remaining people are either adults looking for a full-time job or people waiting to enter ITE, NS or MDIS. (many people = little or none job opportunities) but i guess they are looking for more than one person for the job.

We were then brought into a meeting room to have a briefing of the various jobs. There were jobs like document preparations, scanning, data entry etc. When i enter the room, i occupied myself with filling up the form and soon mr tan, one of the more senior employee, came in and started the briefing. The briefing was a very interactive one as mr tan asked us what kind of games we play. He even asked some of us our IC number, that was a test of how fast we can type. It was said that if a person can speak faster, he/she is a faster typist. Mr tan also ask for our race and i realised that there was a Korean guy in there! haiz... but he dont have the Korean star look :( lol.

Next, we were brought to various places to have a hands-on practice on the work. First, i was assigned to the document preparation area, my duty was to remove all staplets on the paper and to make sure that there was no dog-ears on the paper so that they would be fit for scanning. I scored average:( . but anyway, no one got better than that! hahas... We then proceeded to the data entry segment. I was supposed to enter the data that is right in front of me. I was like freaking nervous as i never liked people next to me when i'm doing work. So my fingers were like shaking and how would you expect me to type properly! hmm... awarded average again!

yea so after the 'interview' i went to my present company to collect my pay cheque. When i saw my cheque, i was like shit! she didnt give me my pay for the roadshow days but only the days after the road show!!!!! I tried to tell sharon's accountant but she said she couldnt do any... so no choice i had to call sharon to tell her the incident and she said that she thought she gave it to me and i was like NO... hmm... have to get it from her another day lors...

today until carmen's recommendation, i went to CPF building to look for a job!:)
there were two agencies one of which was kelly services and the other was recruit express. they are found on the 7th and 8th floor of the CPF building(:

the first agency i went to was kelly services, which is located at the 7th floor. I saw only three people sitting on their desk. my first reaction was, why is this place so pathetic?! Anyway, i came to look for a job and not look at them so i got the form, filled it up, and return the form back to them! short huh? while filling the form, one woman was like shouting "anyone wants deeeesssertssss?" the room aint big but she shouted as if she's in a hall! the other two people were only opposite her and adjacent to her! hmm... i doubt i would get a job through there as the person who got the form for me didnt ask any more questions. I was like dumbfounded for a moment... then i asked her, "erm...am i supposed to tell you what kind of job am i interested in?" . Then she gave me a AH enlightened face, "so what kind of job are you interested in?". so i told i was interested in admin line or maybe part time teaching.... then I left!

next was recruit express which was located at the 8th floor. This agency seem much more vibrant, everyone was occupied with their work. hmm... this seem more like a reliable agency. one man came towards my direction well-dressed, i was about to approach him for help but he just brushed past me! I was like excuse me... and then ignored him. Well, lets not let one black sheep tarnish the name of the agency bahs! Then another man approached me with the form to fill up. *at last!* the pen he passed to me didnt last 10 words! So i approach someone else who was free to ask for a pen, like the other pen, it died as fast too. I went again to get a usable pen, to play save, i took two! hahas... and of course one worked! hahas... After filling up the form, another man came to 'interview' me. He glance through the form and asked me some questions. I feel much better when someone would interview me to get more details so that they can help me get a suitable job(:

its funny to think why have i not posted for so long when i'm super free... hmm....
guess its because of me getting too addicted to Boys over Flowers! hahas.... (the show's real nice!) okays... so little summary of the past few days of my life.

3 FEBUARY, tuesday

• visited the choir with tricia and sarah (:
• the very first time my ez-link card went 'ti' instead of' 'ti-ti' (heartbreaking sia...)
• stuck outside the school gate cus the stupid security guards didnt want to let us in! georgina even tried to let me pose as her sister to let me in but damn! still cant get in! we called like many teachers none of them answered as they were having staff meeting -.- in the end miss zaidah came to 'save' us when entering the school(:
• went to my grandparent's place to have dinner before my uncle's family leave for china. aunt cooked shark's fin soup and something delicious but i forgot the name >.<

4 FEBUARY, wednesday

• take care of my sickly bro who was down with flu and cough.
• watched episode 9 of BOYS OVER FLOWERS(:
• stayed at home and rot lol.

5 FEBUARY, thursday (today)

• watched episode 10 of BOYS OVER FLOWERS(:
• chat on msn with shamaine and carmen.

today... i gave piano lesson for Averyl at 930 and i woke up at about 845! Thank God the lesson is in my house! hahas... aunty audrey came to our door with ang baos and ten dollar notes on her hand! My eyes went ka-ching! MONEY MONEY! hahas.... I got a ten dollar ang bao from her and $80 for averyl's piano lesson fee:D But seriously, teaching ain't easy! sometimes i feel like I'm playing some psychological game with her and I'm always at the losing end because she lose her focus super easilly!

Then, i was trying to complete a little more bio. (okay if you guys didnt kw, I'm trying to learn as much bio as i can before i start sch!:D) there are like sooo many funny terms in there like oxyhaemoglobin, heparin etc. (seriously i cant remember!!! wonder how the bio students studied last year, KUDOS TO YOU GUYS!)

yea... so today's church was about the same as usual. yea I served as a pianist with flora(:
during refreshment time, uncle francis was scalded with hot water. those at scene panicked! He actually stood frozen for a few seconds not knowing what to do. I guess this alarm came to him as a shock. Thanks God he suffered only from 1st degree burn.

after adult's bible study, the chin family and my family went to raffles city's thai express to have dinner(: We met a super duper friendly lady in white! hahas... she's actually a waitress at thai express!:D she crack jokes naturally and is a very flexible person. darren, the fussy lil' boy, wanted honey chicken rice and tom yum soup. daddy then ordered only tom yum soup and plain rice for him then he started throwing his tantrum like a spoilt brat! so this waitress, zaiton, gave him honey chicken rice and tom yum soup (with no ingredients!). PROBLEM SOLVED! hahas...

while blogging this post, i ate a piece of mummy's chocolate oat cookie:D NICE! mummy then told jie to close the container tight if not the cookie would lao hong (lose air lol.) Then i commented that today's holy communion's biscuit was partially lao hong and mummy started laughing at me because i pronounce partially as pasir ris!!! LOL. yea so thats it(:
