HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREATGRANDMA!

YES! my greatgrandma has turned 97 on 26122009!

i'm really glad that she have lived for so long alr(:

sincerely hope she'll be able to see the next generation! &pray real hard that she'll believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST!

so we went vegetarian that day (as usual) at ling zhi vegetarian restaurant located at orchard.

My Christmas Gift~

BLESSED CHRISTMAS EVEYONE!:D

went to church in the morning for Christmas service,

heard carissa played the violin, one word,

AWESOME!

the children and adults choir sang really well

&the pianists! all did a great job!(:

(girls, i love yall so much! lol. dont know why i'm saying this too lol!)

in the evening, my family & i went to aunty gladys's house for a Christmas gathering!(:

RANDOMNESS on a saturday

Saturday equals to a day of tuition,

well, not me having tuition but me giving tuition, which is piano lesson to my student Averyl(:

teaching seem to have got a little easier after i started buying stuff for her on a regular basis, increasing class timing allowing us to have longer time to teach, learn and gossip about stuffs too(:

this is the first time i talk so much about my piano teaching.

Its going to be two years into piano teaching already, and this two years it was filled with gladness, satisfaction, anguish and sometimes doubt. doubtful as there were times i was afraid that i might teach the wrong things. but thanks for people like ms chan and mr leung who i could turn to in times of doubt.

by teaching, i really learnt how is it like to be a teacher and how bad i was as a student. =P hahas.

i also gained really some valuable experience on how to deal with people and how to even deal with kids and parents (but i must say that aunty audrey, averyl's mummy, is a really nice and accommodating lady!(: )

last saturday, averyl came to my house for piano lesson. she was really enthusiastic now in playing her exam pieces for me!(: esp her T rex song!

like every other ordinary student, she dreads learning new scales. i taught her how to play C major broken chords. well, she wasnt used to it as compared to the normal ascending and descending scales, but i coax her by saying that i would give her sweets and stuff and she played the scale with a more cheerful spirit.

hahas, but i showed her the pattern involved in this scale which was the breaking down of the tonic triad. she was then interested and tried it once again and thought it was easy.... hahas!

after lesson, i took out my santa's hat and played with averyl and aiden,

Youth Camp 2009!

yupps, another camp!

16 dec - 18 dec '09

managed to only join the youths on the 17th as i ended my nyaa camp on the 16th!

sissy and i got up real early to prepare in hope to reach the chalet by 9 for singspiration. but then we reached the bus stop at 910 and waited for the 915 shuttle bus. but the bus didnt come even till 950!

we bo bian started walking towards the chalet and try to grab any cab on the way and only managed to get it at escape theme park!

reached there when the message by uncle jeremiah was about to end >.<

had games after that. without further ado, PICTURES!

really really did enjoy myself in this camp too! productive as uncle jeremiah's messages were seriously apt for youths like me even though i effectively attended only one message that as christians, we do not compromis. I must say that the camp commitee really did put in much effort and really praise God for His marvellous working hands especially when He held the rain during the games.

looking forward to more youth camps!!!
