NYAA camp!
13 to 16 dec was my nyaa adventurous camp.
Day ONE
the group met at kembangan mrt at 5.
we then trek to ecp AREA G!!! (do you know how freaking far that is??!)
pitching our tents
playing panda and doc!
hosted by thamar.
the game was really nice, a new face to ice breaker games as the most commonly seen ice-breaker game is wacko or double wacko! hahas!
here's how the game goes,
the host, which is thamar in the centre, would appoint the panda bear and the doctor.
when night approaches, everyone would go to bed.
then, the panda bear would get up and kill a civilian. poor civilian.
after its done with its hunt, it retires to bed.
the doctor then gets up and pick someone to revive, but of course not knowing who was killed by the bear.
as dawn approaches, everyone gets up. if the bear and the doctor appoints the same person, the civilian survives. however, if the people they choose are different, that civilian dies.
we then washed up and went into our tents to rest as there's a long day ahead.
It was my first time sleeping in the tent, or maybe after a long long while. Before i went for the camp, one thing i do not look forward to was to sleep in a tent as i always thought it would be messy, sweaty and stinking. However, it was much better than i thought. Roomates, or should i say tent mates for the camp! Nelly, Felicia and Amanda!(:
Day TWO
good morning!
we got up, prepared for a long day at pulau ubin!
did our morning exercise!
trek from ecp to changi point.
trek
trek
TREK!
but it was really nice as i kept chatting with nelly about lots of stuff, and seriously, she's really funny!
heard many interesting stuffs from students studying aeronautical, about plane crash and stuff(:
after hours of trekking, we finally reached changi point had our lunch before we sent off for pulau ubin.
and once again, the most common activity of this camp, trekking!
we had a walk of about 45mins to chek jawa where we went to view some of the most exotic creatures in singapore.
stopover at the exhibit by hsbc.
amanda, me and nelly
nelly and i
CYA!
went back to changi point, had dinner there, went back and prepared for the next day.
Day THREE
went to hort park at habour front.
me, cheryl, shu jie
environmental talk by rahmat,
he taught us various stuff of the park as this place is his outdoor classroom. COOL!
learnt that the timbre tiles are made of dead tree trunks, as using cement is not as environmental,
there are clay tiles on the ground which is useful for returning the water back to the earth(:
singapore has some of its native trees like the fish-tail palm.
went back but it was raining so everybody armed themselves with ponchos and raincoats!
cute-ness!
Day FOUR
everyone emo-ing at the beach lol.
group photo with our tent, we look puny!
seniors and the commitee of the camp!(:
really really enjoyed myself in this camp. It was a great channel for me to know more people in my cca like cheryl and serene.
i learnt that i could really stretch my limit as i never expect myself to walk such distance everyday!(:
looking forward for camps like these.
loves,
